The Vineyard at Hershey celebrates year one with their usual style of blow-out party – First Anniversary Bash! This Saturday, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., stop into the Vineyard for live music, chef demonstrations, food pairings and recipes from the kitchen of The Winemaker’s Wife.
Of course, it wouldn’t be a party without the wine itself – and The Vineyard at Hershey will release five wines on Saturday, including their brand new and first ever Sparkling Moscato. Plus, enjoy the return of Dry and Sweet Rieslings, Peach Wine and another newbie, Trilogy, a dry red blend.
The first 25 attendees will score free season passes to The Vineyard at Hershey’s new Decked Out summer music series. If you’re late, fear not, you can score these half-price on Saturday only.
At noon, join the partners for a special toast and the official cork-popping of the Sparkling Moscato, including a sample on the new deck. Entry is free, so bring some friends and enjoy.
Uplifting Event in Harrisburg
The second annual Gridiron Gala returns to Strawberry Square in Harrisburg on Saturday, March 2. The event, which benefits Uplifting Athletes, is a black tie-optional event that allows you the opportunity to mix and mingle with former college football stars, including Mike Honcho, Brett Brackett and Kurt Coleman.
There is also live entertainment, a gourmet “tailgate” featuring heavy hors d’oeuvres, desserts and open bar. Proceeds from tickets sales raises funds for rare disease research.
During the event, Uplifting Athletes will present its “Rare Disease Champion” award, which received more votes last year than the Iowa Caucus!
Tickets are $125 and can be purchased online.
